Mobile Dentistry

Mobile Portable Dentistry is designed to provide on-site dental care for the elderly, frail or geriatric patient that is confined to a care facility.

Comprehensive dental care can be delivered bedside.

Oral health is important if not crucial for optimum overall health. Systemic bacterium, chronic and acute pain, swallowing or inhalation of broken or loose teeth may be even be life threatening.

MPD, through a contractual arrangement will provide 24 hour emergency coverage, dental directorships and in-service training for administrators and RNs, LPNs and aides. Training for assessment personnel is available.

MPD is able to help your facility meet dental OBRA regulations.

MPD can provide initial screenings and exams, x-rays, oral prophylaxis (cleaning) and periodontal treatment, extractions and associated surgery, restoration (fillings) of broken and decayed teeth, dentures, and partial dentures.

Consultations are made with physicians, nurses, responsible parties, facilities, and guardians as required prior to any treatment being done. Treatment is performed on a fee-for-service basis. Private pay, insurance and Medicaid are accepted.
